Hello, I’m Alex Luque, Manager of San Sebastian Trips and Head Tour Guide.

Born and raised in San Sebastian, I currently live with my family in the mountains between San Sebastian and Biarritz. We are lucky to live in the countryside with our pets on a farm dating back to the 1700s.

I started in this business about 12 years ago and have been fortunate to work in a field that I am passionate about. I have always enjoyed history, nature, and gastronomy, and my work allows me to combine all of these interests.

It is very rewarding to show your homeland and your culture to people from far away countries and see how they take it in, how they enjoy it, and how they end up loving it.

 Our experiences focus on the nature, gastronomy, and culture of our country. We particularly highlight tours to the French Basque Country, tours to the Rioja wine region, and tours in the San Sebastian region. We don’t just want to offer private tours, we also want to offer unforgettable experiences through our culture and cuisine.

It is a great privilege to be able to combine outdoor tours or sigtseeing tours with the local Basque gastronomy. It’s like a tradition here in our region! After a walk in the mountains, we have a meal; after a morning of fishing, we have a meal; if we have something to celebrate, like a special day, we also have a meal.
